Garrett Steele is no stranger to the entertainment industry. A creative spark began early in his life, taking the stage for the first time in second grade. Garrett grew up in Midland, Texas, but currently resides in Nashville, TN. Garrett was fortunate to have parents that supported him and always welcomed those that took an interest in their son's talent. At age 14, Garrett was discovered and later mentored by a talented songwriter/musician from West Texas, Del Trolinder. He gave him a priceless education in the recording studio, stage time with his band and educated him in the music industry. Early on, Garrett honed his live performance skills performing in Del’s band in West Texas and the Permian Basin. Years of performing at a young age taught Garrett how to connect with his audience. His distinctive voice made him a local favorite. Del was the one who introduced Garrett to Nashville. With his guitar in hand and his pick up loaded, he was off to make his mark in Nashville. Right from the start, he made an impact, sharing the stage with country artists on Printer’s Alley and other hot spots around town.
Garrett dove right in to the Nashville scene, creating one of the town’s most talented bands. Through the years, his band members included;
Dave Salyer: Barbara Mandrell’s guitarist for 10+ years,
Brent Mason: Top session guitarist, George Strait, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Toby Keith, & Randy Travis’ guitarist
Jim “Moose” Brown: Keyboard and/or guitar for Bob Seger, Marie Osmond, Bill Anderson, as well as Hit songwriter of Jimmy Buffet’s “It’s 5 O’Clock Somewhere”

Competitive and driven as an entertainer, Garrett is also a loving family man and a savvy businessman who has learned to effectively balance all facets of his life. He has been blessed with two beautiful daughters and two lovely nieces. Called to serve his God, Garrett lead a Praise and Worship band at his Nashville Congregation. Word spread quickly of this talented vocalist and soon he was performing at weddings, funerals and other regional congregations. He was asked to perform for Dolly Parton’s nephew’s wedding and Dolly also performed a rendition of “I will always love you”, re-written especially for the couple. She sat in awe as he performed for the married couple. Other artists that Garrett has shared the stage with include Wynnona, John Prine, Roxie Dean, Steve Wariner and Stephen Curtis Chapman.
He’s a multi talented entertainer: Singer, Musician, Actor, and Host. Most recently, he was cast as Scrooge in Nashville’s longest running production of “A Christmas Carol”, presented by Community Players, under the direction of David Hutson, receiving fantastic reviews. He has also hosted the Miss US Teen Pageant as well as Riverfest’s Vocal Star Contest. Garrett has been an integral part of Community Players.
